How many Unicoach's built from 1995-2004

Does anyone know how many Unicoach's where built from 1995-2004?..... Including slide,non slide and those few Grandvilla's.

I have asked this before, never really got an answer. I have heard anywhere from 2,000-2,500 coaches.

I did hear once, the last few coaches where assembled by the office people toward the end.

It would be fun to see the break down by year

A survey here of build dates and build numbers might answer your question.

My Feb 97 coach is 5132

Among Forum folks, the lowest build number for a 95 is 4605. The highest build number for a 2005 is 6338. There may be lower or higher, this is what I can find in a short time.

That gets you 1733 coaches.

There is an 04 @6273. That 65 between some time in 04 and 05. And there weren't many built in 05.

Jim did some great work along these lines several years ago.
Need build numbers/build dates for 2003 and later (split from FT production)
Kind of neat.

My 95 u320se is April 94. Build number 4558. I believe it's the first unicorn sold.

'Unicorn' could be correct. I've been a member of
this forum for several years and am a wannabe owner. I have yet to be inside a Foretravel. I've been outside one at an open-house sales event at my local dealer, but it sold so quickly that the unit was locked up so nobody could access it while the paperwork was being processed. I've only seen two others going down the road. Someday...some day:)

My 04 has a built #6273. I am not at the coach right now, but believe it as built in Nov. 03.

Hi Brett and Chris. I am sure you are right. The members on this forum are a helpful bunch.
The suburbs of Philadelphia are a long way from Texas, so that would explain their rarity. About three years ago, I saw a beautiful 42' U320 pulling out of the campground across from our church in Hatfield. If they were pulling in, I'd have stopped by after mass:)
I just made that last college payment for our youngest, so I can pursue my purchase soon-ish.

Well Eric responded back and his couch is stored in my town. What a small world. He graciously offered to give me tour of his rig when he is up my way. I'll try to bring my wife along. Maybe then she'll understand my affinity for this brand. 😎

Careful bob as what she is expecting is not what she will see.

Most rv's are made to be sold. Fabrics, paint, floor plans, slideouts.

That the box part is poorer made is an education thing.

Yup, too true Bob.
I have told her to not expect flash and bling from a Foretravel. Where these coaches 'shine' the best, is when you've owned a lesser one.
We've traveled around the country for 12 years in a 34' Itasca diesel pusher. It was fun, but I began to appreciate the better build of the Foretravel.
Ive read that a dove-tailed drawer out of a Foretravel would shame the stapled pressboard mess that exists in a lesser coach.
My wife and I have lived with cheaper build, so I think she'll instantly understand why the Foretravel is better. I'll make the reach to a FT when my wallet gets fat enough for a purchase.

Good, she will appreciate what she will see.

Gave two drunk large sized guys at the San Jose mile fairgrounds a Foretravel drawer out of a mid 80's coach and told them they were wimpy, and limp wristed and told them that together they could not break it.

They finally gave up. Embarrassed.

Was great fun...
