Towbar installation... need advice

We need our 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee equipped for towing.  We're in Houston and just talked to Smitty's where we have had this sort of work done previously, but they are booked up until February 25.  That date would mean putting off our return to sunny Tucson even further.  We have a February 20 appointment with MOT for some work on our coach.  I'd like to get that done and then head west.

Does anyone know of anyone that does this sort of work in Nac or close by?  I will probably go with a Roadmaster towbar (Falcon 2) and base plates.  But I would not object to a Blue Ox setup either (recommendations?).  The Jeep weighs about 5000 lbs and we're starting from scratch.  I will also need a braking system installed and am leaning toward the Roadmaster Brakemaster which would also need to be installed.

Thanks in advance,
George

George, not sure but does any body parts need to come off to install the tow plates?  On our Equinox, there is a bunch and I am thinking about taking it to a body shop.  You might want to see if they can handle that job.  Just an idea!

I have used the ReadyBrute tow bar/braking (or similar)  on four tows now.  Our Jeep Cherokee has Blue Ox base plates.  Braking is simple, effective and proportional.  Nothing on the floor of the Jeep, no changes to the braking system in the Jeep or the air system of the coach.  It is just mechanical and simple and cost effective.  Check it out. Check and see if there is a UHaul location near you. They did all of mine except the air force I breaking system because they would no work on the air system. Their hourly rate was less than half what most RV places charge and did a good job.
Just my two cents

If Dues will do it, they are very close to your location (3.2 miles). Worth a drive over to check.

FOT & MOT do not stock parts so if they do install them you will need to give them notice so they can order the parts.
