Aqua Hot exhaust extension

Calling all my FT Aqua Hot people.

Has anyone extended their exhaust while parked?

How long?

Have a friend in Yuma on oxygen, and his dumps on his patio.

On shore power, but got a $200.00 electric bill...Yikes

Thanks
Chris

Chris,

With a straight out exhaust tip extending about 2 inches beyond the side of the coach, a Gen-Turi can be attached to direct the exhaust gases out over the top of the roof.  If one has a down turned tip, installing the exhaut extension will be challenging.

Gen-Turi can be purchased at RV parts stores and online.  They can even be made at home by a good handy man.  The key component is the vertical exhaust tube does not get hot enough to burn your skin.

Thank you for quick response, knows exactly what your talking about. He is a RV teach from here, and it's his sisters coach.

Chris, suggest to your friend in Yuma that he run the electric side of the AH for a couple hours two or three times a day.  It is probably going to be adequate unles he is heating all day and using a lot of water.  Give it a try.  We rarely leave ours on all day unless it is really cold.
