Wonder if:

The bottom seat cushions are "flotation devices"?

The wheel bearings ever get water in them?

You must have "waterproof" luggage if it is stowed in the cargo bays?

The speedometer reads in "Kph" or "Knots"?

You have to "ride the brakes" to dry them out?

AND finally...why does it say "Riverbus Fart Man" on the back end?

Modern version of the Ride the Ducks. I'm guessing that there is no luggage under the floor, so watertight hull.

A few years ago someone made an amphibious motor home. As a commercial venture, I don't think it ever made any money. There are several videos circulating of it driving into the lake, just like that bus. Some of them show the looks of horror on the faces of people as they watch a motorhome drive into the lake - followed by their shocked looks when it floats.

It has been kicked around here on this site for a long time. Here is a link to it 15 years ago.

Looks like it's all freeboard from the waterline to the roof.

Notice there is no wind, dead calm, and glassy smooth water. Probably for good reason.

One leak, just one leak is all it takes. If the leak is on one side and the bus tips to that side it'll roll over in the water before you have a chance to get out. Life preserver on the back? Never have time to get to it. More of a decoration.Wonder what the insurance would be for it, especially hauling passengers.
EMT living in Missouri. Recently purchased 1987 Gran Villa 36 Ft. long,460 Ford engine with 40,000 miles on it, new tranny has 3000 miles on it, coach has 75000 miles on it, new 5000 watt genny new fridge, new tires. Am both excited and scared out of my wits at the size of this beast. Love it but need time to become accustomed to it's size.  I'm sure it will take time to experience all the secrets this RV has to offer. Any and all advice gratefully accepted.
