Hello,
I have always understood that the VMSpc and PressurePro Tire Monitoring were different systems. After talking with SilverLeaf today, if I understand it correctly, they have a product that combines both systems. The software is the same VMSpc, but includes placeholders for the PressurePro readouts. The hardware consists of a cable from diagonistic port, to a white box, that has the pressure pro receiver, then to JIB connector (whatever that is) then to the usb port on laptop. It also includes a remote receiver/repeater. Does anyone have experience with this system?? Likes/dislikes?? I have ofte read on this forum of the value of PressurePro and the VMSpc, but always assumed they were separate stand alone systems.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, thanx, Dave Abel
That is correct.
That is correct.
If you have the Pressure Pro System and Repeater already installed,
They will sell you a kit with a new receiver and cable that will replace the existing cable going to the diagnostic port because the new cable has another connection that goes to their new receiver. $285 for the kit. or $379 if you do not already have the repeater. In either case you are using the Pressure Pro sensors that are already on your tires.
Attached is the manual
If you already have the Pressure Pro system, I cannot see the advantage of having the readout on the laptop.
It is not something I would be watching since the original receiver is going to give me an audible whenever a tire is loosing air. IMHO ::)

l couldn't agree more with Barry's last statement! Like many of the other folks on this forum, we have the Pressure Pro system. It's the audible alarm that has gotten my attention on more than one occasion.
With that said however, audible alarms can be set on the VMSPC, although I cannot say for certain if they can be set with the PressurePro connection.
Thanks for the replies!! I don't have any system installed right now. That's why I'm thinking of using the VMSpc/PressurePro combo system..I have some great e-mails from the PressurePro reps.
