Title: Heart Interface Overload Light Blinking
Post by: Brian on August 21, 2010, 08:37:38 pm
When I was doing my monthly "test" everything today, the Heart Interface overload light starting blinking and the interface shut down.

I have read the instruction book but it does not address the symptom with enough detail for me to pin point the problem.

Any suggestions?

Clean and make sure all battery connections are tight.

Consider replacement with Xantrex Prosine 2.0.

Brian I had the same thing happen to my 97 U295, 1 of my house batteries were bad but also I had a circuit board bad in our Heart 2500 Inverter. Here is a link to Heart or Xantrex service reps. Hope this helps...http://www.xantrex.com/web/id/1/asc.asp (http://www.xantrex.com/web/id/1/asc.asp)

New batteries installed by an RV tech a few months ago.  No trouble with the interface over our summer trip.

The manual says to recycle by connecting to shore power.  I tried recycling with the generator...no luck.

I will double check the battery connections next weekend.
