Title: When did U320 / M11 engine start
Post by: jeff on August 31, 2010, 08:33:22 am
I am looking at a coach being advertised as a 95 U320 / M11 engine.  Went to Beamalarm.com (thank you Barry) and could not find a U320 in specifications/floor plans until 96.  Not important, either way, just curious.

Thank you

It is hard to get good help these days. The offending party has been duly chastised  ???  :o
The specifications are there now.  :)

And in 95/96, it was a 360hp engine 'uprated' at Foretravel to 400hp. As Foretravel wasn't good at reporting this to Cummins, the Cummins db may show it as not uprated. I had mine checked by Cummins and it had indeed been done. 97 up, the M11 was 450 hp, and became the ISM 450, then 500hp version.

Barry:  That was funny.  Thanks for the chuckle..  (I wonder if the Margaritis helped add to the humor?)
