Ever since we bought this 95 U280 the wall light at the end of the couch has been a PITA. The joint in the swing arm was loose and I tried everything I know to tighten it with no success.
In a flea market in Maine I found an identical light for 2 bucks, clerk said he thought it might work.
I installed it and now we have the wall light back.
You never know where you will find something.
Hi Gary,
Our 1997 U 320 must have the same lights. Can not keep them set in any position more than a few minutes. They have a mind of their own. I can not find a way to tighten the joints. Has anyone?
My traveling partner is offended by the lamps hanging from the walls of our 1997 U295. There are four of them our coach, two in the bedroom and two in the "great room." I suggested replacing them with sconces or some kind of fixed lamp. I've not found any such fixtures in on line catalogs. Does anyone have suggestions of where to look for 12V wall fixtures?
We replaced the swing-arm wall sconces in our '03 with a fixed sconce we saw in one of the newer FTs. The manufacturer of most 12V RV lighting is Gustafson

We did this a couple of years ago, but Camping World special order desk was able to order the lights for us and have them drop shipped to our address at an excellent price. We chose

You'll need to make sure the base plate is large enough to cover any existing holes. And one of the challenges is that Gustafson doesn't always have the dimensions on their website, so figuring out the scale of the fixture can be frustrating.
