Re-set my sky light last week. Used a marine grade silicone sealant at the turn of $15 a tube. It required 24 hours to cure and got its first rain exactly 24 hours after the re-setting. This evening we are sitting at a state park on Lake Erie and were hit with several heavy thunderstorms and down bursts. I check several times and can proudly report - Leak Free!!!
Forgot to say that this trip is the shake down run for my Foretravel. First time out to actually live in it after being checked out, cleaned up, and making some mods. Basically everything is up to snuff. The Sharp Carousel II is missing the manual and a pain to figure out. I down loaded a similiar manual, but it is not for the same model. It does appear to work. It is missing the ESP sensor. Will have to see if I can find one somewhere. Weather has been on the cold side and I now know that the rear furnace is not lighting, but front furnace is working great. Frig works very good, but it is a replacement.
There are still some things I want to do. Plan on getting some shock struts for holding up the queen bed to make engine access easier. Have to replace the kitchen faucet head cause it is not getting good flow. Faucet valve was leaking, but fixed that.
The cabinet under the fridge now has a cat box in it. Perfect size and I can not figure out any other place to put it. Remove the door and put a curtain over the opening. The two house cats have accepted that okay. Only problem we have had with the cats is the overhead cabinets in the bedroom. They thought it should be their play house. The youngest one figured out how to open the front cabinet on drivers side and that was all it took. Had to fix that door so it would not open!
