Title: HWH Info
Post by: Gary Bouland (RIP) on November 22, 2010, 07:34:02 pm
As most of you know I am in the middle of rehabbing a long stored 97 U295 for a friend so he can sell it.
I need info about the HWH Panel.  It has a RED light centered and slightly above the leveling lights.  My panel is different and I have no idea what this red light is, real faintly I THINK I can See " BATT" in the light. Does this mean that there is a voltage fault ?
Appreciate any help you can give me.

Gary,
Is the ignition on or off when the light is red?  When did you first notice that the light was red?

I just looked at the HWH panel in our 1997 U295. I saw no light above the leveling lights. There is a red light above the "On" (or Air or something than is worn off of our panel) button that remains on when the system is in level mode while parked. That light is near the top of the panel above the "Dump," "Raise," and "On" buttons. Next to it. to the right, is an "Excess Slope" button. I don't remember what color it shows.

Your friend's HWH may be different from ours even though it is the same model and year for the coach.

I believe hwh has manuals posted for all models.

How do I know which model HWH I have for the 97 vintage?

This red light is rectangular in shape and is in addition to the normal red llight that shows your are leveled or leveling.
I don't know the model so I will have to find that out.
Ignition is on when I see the light and so far it apperas that the coach does not try to level but all yellow lights stay on.
Unfortunately I am chasing problems that are probably occurring due to a lightening strike at the owners home.
Thanks for any info and I will check model and get manual from HWH.

Barry,
Thanks for the link.  I'm not at the coach so I can't tell for sure, but do we have the Series 680?  Below is a picture of the control box.

Thanks guys, I'll have to take a closer look at the Control box and panel and the HWH info you pointed to will be a big help.
This forum is like having a HUGE library at hand with many many librarians.
