Title: Part Number Collection
Post by: Barry Beam on December 04, 2010, 11:47:21 am
I have been keeping a list of part numbers I have found for my 2003 coach so they will be readily available when the time comes when I need a part.

I think it would be a service to others if we start a list here of part numbers we have found.
Be specific with Part Number, manufacturer and coach model it is good for.
A photo or web site where you found it is optional but useful.

The list could get quite large and as it warrants can be split off into separate files for each year or model.
But until we see what info is collected that would come later as needed.

Here is an example for my 2003 U320
Isolator  -  Cole Hersee 48160
Cole Hersee Resource Center (http://www.colehersee.com/04resource/tec%5EBatt%20iso.htm)

o-ring seals on the solenoid "six pack" manifolds "rebuild" kit
https://www.hwhcorp.com/mr053729.pdf

A/C compressor Seltec 16HD
Search Automotive Air Conditioning Parts (http://www.autoaironline.com/search.html)

Radiator - Atlas 18C868
atlasradiator.cc/products.html

Steering Gear - Sheppard M100PDP1
M100 (http://www.rhsheppard.com/m100.htm)

Tag, your turn.
What hard to find items have you found  ???

Dick,

Yes, I need an air dryer bowl too. I looked at Granger's website under
'air dryer parts' and did not find the bowl only.  Maybe there is a trick to looking it up.  Anyone know of another source?

Jim,
Check here, http://www.wilkersoncorp.com/, (http://www.wilkersoncorp.com/,) they have 'Locate a distributor' link. Find one in your area and give them a call. That bowl should be available somewhere. Let me know if you locate it and what it costs.

I was hoping to do something like that as soon as we get some parts information posted on here to work with.
Lets dig out those receipts and get some numbers.  8)

Barry, you can get a bit of a start by going back to the old YAHOO group site and to "DATABASE".  There is a "Weird Parts" there with a lot of info (the old group site contains a ton of info if people are willing to look at it).

Thanks John,
I have that list.
I thought we would get more participation on this list to add to it since so many are looking for part numbers and found them that they might want to share what they found.
We could group them on a continuous list instead of having to search the forum.

1995 only - as far as I know, only part of the year - the 'dash lights' that illuminated the AC/Heat controls - 3 shrouded lamp holders that illuminated downward. Its an odd flanged base lamp part number ML387-330 - only applications are aircraft illumination and microscopes. After buying the wrong lamp again and again I finally figured out the problem. The ML387 is the 28 volt mil-spec application. I kept buying it, and having a very DIM bulb that would last forever (and illuminate nothing, kinda like me). The correct 14V part is a GE-330 which I ordered 10 of from Aircraft Spruce today (1.85 ea incl shipping).

We have the Girard as installed as original equipment on our coach.
One of our "parts" to get this year is a new wind sensor since the old one is making a bit of noise.
Michelle

I had to buy a new wind sensor that was damaged for our Girard. Part Number 9800151-01.
Now that I painted the roof, maybe I will go up and replace it. ???

All,
The number ignition switch part number in the ninety's version coaches is a generic ac delco part number, D1406A. This cross references to NAPA part number KS6603, a made on USA part. This is the body of the switch with the electrical contacts and does not include a key tumbler, that would be a seperate item.
A google search will show pictures of the part.
Bye,

Instead of replacing the hydrostatic fan pump on a 1993 Unihome, you can sent it out to have the leaking seal replaced. New pump cost $600 (from One Stop) repair of old pump with new seal $122.90.

The National part number for the seal is 221920, that part number cross references to a Honda seal part number 91249-P02-003

on my 8.3 cummings, I had a hose on the right side lower that was only about 5 inches long connecting 2 pipe together start leaking was told by Mike Grimes that the hose to use was a Gates 21729.  you cut off a piece on the end that is that size to replace that  hose and use the rest for the hose that goes on the left side to the motor to the top. It has a larger end.

Washer would start and stop intermittently. Talking to Westland Sales they recommended replacing
Splendide 2000 Non Push Button Door Switch #116102761
The washer has to be pulled out to replace it. If I take it out, I am not sure how the vent is lined up in the back and how to reconnect it so I am reluctant to do it and will let an RV shop do it.
The washer just fits in the opening and the shelf above it is not removable.
Just a small opening on top to get to water valve.

Air Conditioner vacuum pump. 12volt.

Part # Gast MOA-V111-JH VAC pump.
The pump is 1/16 hp, draws 6.5 amps, runs 1800 rpm, .56 CFM.  Mounting holes may have changed, as the old mounting shock mount bolts holes and rubber mounts were 8/32, and the new mounting bolt holes are 10/32.  Grainger's does not list 10/32, so I have upgraded to 1/4-20.  I plan to re-drill and re-tap, the 3 mounting holes and use lock nuts.  Price was $308 tax paid out the door.

Rear Lens Assembly
Right Side - V1150R

I know there are after market Ford light assemblies for some of these lens, but the price from Foretravel seems fair and they treat us so well, seems a shame not to send the business their way.  Just sayin'

The National part number for the seal is 221920, that part number cross references to a Honda seal part number 91249-P02-003.

Part number for the 1993 U300 Engine cooling fan control valve
SV3-10-C-6T-1200
From Foretravel $137.00, could not find it elsewhere.
If anyone has a diagram of the hydraulic or electrical for this system, I would greatly like to have a copy.

Would also like part number for the temp control switch.

It is an easy change. Get to replace with clean 15W40 also.

Just replaced the over-temp switch ("thermo-switch") on our 8KW Power Tech generator.  3 cyl  Isuzu, but the switch is apparently the same as on the 4 cyl Kubota

Kubota 15543-83040

Power Tech charged $42 for it!  (I needed it and couldn't wait...)

Here is a pic of the thermostat switch for my 3208T CAT.

Part number 1002-04870 from ALARMSTAT.  I ordered the part thru Freightliner.

Barry was kind enough to send me a link to Barry L's belt tensioner change out. Though Barry L. has the 8.3C in his coach, the Gates Part number 38504 that is used for both of the tensioners on his coach, is the same as the one used for the Hydraulic Pump Tensioner on our 99' 8.3 ISC.
CarQuest's price on this part is $137 (even though CarQuest and Gates seem to be part of the same company). You can get the 3804 at amazon for only $73 and change.
Gates 38504 Belt Tensioner : Amazon.com : Automotive (http://www.amazon.com/Gates-38504-Belt-Tensioner/dp/B000CRDLCU)
The bolt that comes with it is too short for our application. The original uses a Grade 8 through bolt (about 5" long and is a 3/8" X 16 threads per inch) which you can reuse and a lock nut which should probably be replaced.

The Alternator Tensioner rides on the ribbed side of the belt and is reportedly a #38516, thoughI haven't changed it yet.
Two observations about the change out: 1) although the pump tensioner pulley was bouncing to beat the band, it wasn't the source of the noise I was hearing. That was the belt itself. That surprised me, but proved to be a relief when I put an older belt on and the noise was gone. We have ordered new belts from Amazon and they are much cheaper than available locally. For example, the pump tensioner belt is about $29 for the heavy-duty Green Stripe Gates version (Gates Part# K080465HD) from Amazon and almost $45 from Carquest for the non-heavy duty version.
Link for the Pump Tensioner belt;
Amazon.com: Gates K080465HD Micro-V Belt: Automotive (http://www.amazon.com/Gates-K080465HD-Micro-V-Belt/dp/B001CIEDKW/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1374871239&sr=1-1&keywords=Gates+K080465HD)
There is a similar price differential between Amazon and Carquest for the longer Alternator belt as well as tensioner.

I thought that the part number for the breakers that are located behind the kick panel in front of the passenger seat had been posted but couldn't find it. Several have ask us to post these numbers so here they are., Cole Hersee  30056-15. Now remember it is your responsibility to double check to make sure that they fit your coach and are the proper amp rating for the application. They  do make these in different amp ratings so the last numbers are different.  The pics. are of a shipment of 15 amp that just came in. They do fit the years around '97  in all models, 270, 295, 320 that we know. If you know that these fit your coach and feel like adding your year model to help others jump right in.  I don't get a kick back from this company and you can get them from who ever you desire.

Sensor Assy-Temperature, Part # 29511861. This is on my 4060R Allison trans. It is the overheat sensor in the retarder circuit. If this fails your retarter will be inoperable. The mechanic found that it failed high and found it stuck at 361 degrees, causing the TCM to disable, thus making my retarder inoperative. Sensor is located on drivers side upper front of transmission.

5" Turbo Turbine EXHAUST 6 Bolt Flange to 5" V-Clamp Adapter.
If you have a M11 or whatever Cummins that has a HX50/60 Turbo, this is the turbine down pipe V Clamp adapter that w/6 bolts, bolts directly to the Turbo Turbine Exhaust and allows a V-Clamp type 5" Downpipe to go in place.
Columbus Diesel/PN- CDSEOFVB @ $80.00
FOT does not have this down pipe assembly in stock (it was over $700 when they did..)
You will need to fab up the balance of the downpipe & this is where to start.. pc

Nitehawk,
Just a note to add. We replaced a lid (dome) on one of our Fantastic's after it blew off in the wind. In picking up the pieces we discovered that our lid was a "double dome", i.e. there was a lid nested inside another lid.  ;D
Found this out accidentally while talking to Dottie Wood (before Fantastic was sold). From my description she knew I needed to have a "double dome" not a single.
It is not easy to tell the difference just looking at them. It's kind of like looking for double pane windows vs. single.
Glad you got yours fixed.

Dynamatics master radiator fan hydraulic gear motor with integrated valve for 1998 450 HP Cummins M11 Celect Plus

Foretravel part number:  P36584
Dynamatics part number:  551101142183

Foretravel's cost for this part is reasonable given their shipping time if they have it in stock.

According to Dynamatic's US representative, this is Dynamatics most expensive gear motor.  I was told they charge their distributors $2,000 for this motor.  They are trying to get distributors to buy them batches of five.  If distributors buy one motor at a time, then Dynamatics raises the price of the motor.

Lead time for this motor from the UK is 8-9 weeks with air freight (additional cost), and 12-14 weeks by standard shipping (additional cost).

A distributor quoted me $118 less than Foretravel's price, but with additional freight charges, and a lead time between 8-14 weeks.

Fit the front and maybe the rear of the Oshkosh 917 . Valved for the  heavier IRS front suspension, should be a little stiffer than OE.
Range is 12 into 17in.  .750 pin mount.  300#gas pressure needs a ratchet strap to install.
Rides well. not overly harsh , could be a little stiffer IMHO.
If anyone has a parts # for the OE Bilstein , I'll  call Bilstein and check the rates .

In the 2 posts above, it would be best to just post the manufacturer and part numbers, rather than links to someone's eBay listings.  This topic is supposed to be a collection for part numbers for folks to search in the future.  The eBay listings likely won't be there.

ORED Grand Villa
Main chassis Circuit Breaker is located on the Oshkosh chassis, road side by transmission.  Rated 80 Amp.
Klixon 80 amp CDLA Auto-resetting mechanical breaker - discontinued.
Klixon SDLA series is proper replacement.  Mounting holes are identical.  This should be used for replacing all CDLA's.  The SDLM is the manual reset version.

1988  Oshkosh Rear bag # Firestone 9070, Contitech  64464 ( bolts into the bottom plate ) and the Beamalarm  #9448 ( studs in the bottom plate)  works also and  both ways.  The Unicoaches have studs on the bottom where the Oshkosh have bolts. They interchange but you may want to use the bolt style  bottom plate and/ or the OE bottom plate.
The bolts into the bottom plate are easier to install . IMHO

Bendix air throttle cable numbers, reported by two Forum members who needed to replace broken cables.  These new (old stock) cables were purchased from the Foretravel factory parts department.  Since they are shorter than the original factory installed cables, they required relocation of the CC-5 air cylinder to the passenger side engine compartment wall.

Roland's replacement cable:  MORSE D303192-33 8IN  5555      Foretravel Part No. 102619

If you have a leak on the rear of the motor and it might look like the valve cover it is probably the O rings leaking and worn. Seems to be a common problem. Thought it was the valve cover until I removed it and seen the problem.

AFTER INSPECTION!!!!! Looks like the hosing ears did not lock the housing in place.. the original prints will work but ... after I took it apart it seems they are a little to small in diameter.. so I changed to the new ones I ordered (brown looking in color) . These look a little larger and more durable.. When I removed the blue prints they ripped real easy.. I think either would work but I would go with the darker like I said ..

Also the part numbers are different.. They are adjustable through the screw in the top screw it all the way down to seat it and back it up 4.5 turns.. puts you around 190 degrees approx.. Can be adjusted after install to fine tune but you will need to shut the engine off to do so.

Constant torque clamp on my 2002 U320. Foretravel parts # P33823 $16.63 with MCade discount.  Brad's email indicated that local big truck parts vendor may carry. However, Cummins Mid-South did not have the clamp. One of my clamps broke; it restrains the 4" diameter metal tube connecting the CAC(?) back into the engine. Same constant torque clamp used with at least two other lower connection points. The broken clamp actually had slid down the tube/metal hose to the lower connections where I saw it and assumed that's where it belonged.
I used two 4" automotive screw type hose clamps (worm gear type) as a temporary fix until I can replace with the Constant torque clamp. Two temporary clamps seem to hold the tube/metal hose ok. However, will these temporary clamps safely hold the 4" hose and keep it from vibrating and creating other problems? I need some external confirmation by wiser heads that it's safe to drive the Motorhome until I can get the replacement part from Foretravel. Thanks.

Silicone hoses require clamps with smooth mating surfaces because the silicone is relatively soft and standard gear type clamps can damage the hose. Check local automotive/truck parts dealers for silicone hose clamps.
If these are not available locally I would consider a wrap of tape around the hose where the gear type clamp would be placed as a temporary solution.

Thanks for responses. I was unable to get a constant tension clamp at our local and new O'Reilly store. I did go by the International Truck parts and obtained one CTC for ~$32. Good news is Foretravel has them for half that price. I don't think this is a silicone hose. Any thoughts about leaving the two gear type clamps for now and just monitor them closely to see how they hold up under driving conditions? They are tight and only minimal vibration at idle.

That is the old number for the isolation valve that you will have trouble finding at most part stores..  The number that you can find at most part stores is the KN23500 number.
Isolation Valve - Haldex product category (https://www.haldex.com/en/na/valves-9c82abc0/solenoid-and-isolation-air-valves/isolation-valve/)

Mike, thanks for the correction and update. Plan on using the old one for now. Hope to reinstall the dryer tomorrow after work.

Larry,

You may need to take the isolation valve apart and clean it up.  Inside you will find a piston that has a couple of "O" rings. Look at the seating surface for a bad spot. If you need new o rings make sure that the piston moves freely in the bore before you install on the dryer.

Roppe Stair Tread and Stair Nosing

I have had several members ask what product we used to cover the entry stairs in our '93 U280 GV.  I am adding this info to the Forum parts list for future reference.  Note that these Roppe products are available in many variations in style and color.  What we did is just one example of what is possible.  We have been very happy with the looks and durability of the Roppe products.

The stair treads are Roppe Rubber Style #94 - Raised Square Design.  The color is #631 Sahara.  I bought 3 36" long pieces, and had to trim them to fit.  Having no spares, it was a "measure MANY times, and cut once" project.  Once I was satisfied with the fit, I glued them in place with some construction adhesive from Lowes.  Links below to Roppe and to the place where I ordered the stuff (Koffler Sales).  You might find better prices online if you look around.

https://www.kofflersales.com/p/roppe-stair-treads-square-design.asp?cid=863

The nosing around the top edge of the stairwell is also Roppe, but in the Vinyl line #203 profile.  Color is the same: #631 Sahara.  I went with the vinyl nosing because I couldn't find a satisfactory profile in the rubber nosing.  I needed one that was squared off on the underside, and that would lay flat on the Armstrong Vinyl floor tile.  This one worked out very well.  I bought a extra spare piece.  Should it become necessary down the road, I can easily replace the "high wear" section at the top of the stairs.  Links below.

Dick,

Yes, I need an air dryer bowl too. I looked at Granger's website under
'air dryer parts' and did not find the bowl only.  Maybe there is a trick to looking it up.  Anyone know of another source?

Six Pack 12V Solenoid valve COIL 6302012 had to solder the leads in but the coil was 20.95 on their web site they only give a part number.  I called them and was told that it is 1.22A 14.7 watt continuous duty. plus it was free shipping.  It fit like a glove and solenoid valve worked fine.  I seen some cheaper ones but could not find out the hole diameter or coil diameter or height so I went with this one.

Greetings all.

I just wanted to make this diagram for the notorious "gray box" available.  This is for the Stewart Warner gauge interface part #988L.
I was sent this by SW tech support after speaking to them about the 988L.

I realize it is obsolete but maybe someone will be interested in it.  Maybe to just to assist in troubleshooting.

Starter failed in my 1995s Caterpillar 3176 last night. Coachnet dispatched a mobile mechanic as part of a towing company who located the part in stock locally. The Delco 42MT I had crossed over to a new superceded Delco 39MT Gear reduction starter, and the part number is 8200308, crossed from Caterpillar 10R0401 that came off.

Engine cranks much faster. Relieved to be back on the road!
This is also a valid part number for the Cummin's M11 celec plus. Mine was just replaced last week. $441 at the repair shop.

Thanks to Herb, we have a part number for the slide bladder tank (at least on a 2002):

Did considerably more research before ordering the replacement tank.  Some calculations indicated that the FOT installed tank was a little over 6 gallons or 1425 Cu Inches in volume.  The reason I know is I found the exact replacement.  FOT installed a Haldex Part #19810 which has saddle brackets on each end for mounting.  After 20 years, Haldex is still making the tank and they are readily available from a variety of sources.  So rather than reinvent the wheel, I would rather not fabricate new mounts while under my coach on a creeper.  The specs for my tank are here 19810 - Reservoir - Haldex product (https://www.haldex.com/en/na/airline-components/reservoirs/reservoirs---saddle-mounted-single-compartment/19810/) This is for my build number, yours maybe different.

I ordered the tank from here 19810 by HALDEX - Air Brake Reservoir - Single Compartment, Saddle-Mounted,... (https://www.finditparts.com/products/362581/haldex-19810)

2000 U320 replacement Fan part sourcing information
Thanks for all of Ernies footwork we now have a reliable source for replacement radiator fans on our coaches.
Superior Turbo & injection 3745 Central Detroit Michigan 48210
313-203-3700
P/N ACS449200-21
If you search this number on the WEB nothing comes up. I personally called and verified this number does exist and can be ordered in the future.
Again thank you Ernie for finding a source.
These are not IMO expensive and I would recommend replacement in sets.

I have not seen these in person and this is the extent of my knowledge about them. I only write this to allow someone else down the road an easy way to find them.

Hella 4RD 960-388-08

This is a mini relay 5 Terminal / SPDT Single Pole Double Throw (Switching) / 12V / Capacity 20/30 A (NC/NO) / Type B / Form C

Used to our 2000 U320 and other coaches,  located under the center dash panel, used to switch dash air zones

Changeover_relay.pngForm C is a Single Pole-Double Throw (SPDT) contact (also know as a changeover), which means that there is one common point connected to one normally open-end and another normally closed contact.

Type_A_and_type_B_relays.pngType B has pin 30 opposite pin 87, a Type A would have pin 86 opposite.

Mike,

Use the Forum search tool to search for either the name of the part, or for the part number if you have one off the old part.  Either way, if there is a matching entry in this "Part Number Collection" thread you should get a hit.
