I just got a call from Keith Risch, mechanic at Encore RV here in Nacogdoches. Someone on the Forums inquired about locating a Stewart-Warner Instrument Corporation Controller No. 988L. That was me. I talked with Keith and gave him the info re:controller. I'll call him first thing tomorrow. Thanks a million for posting this info for me to see. Apparently Keith misplaced my info.
Just an update. I called Keith and he told me there was no way he could check the controller to see if it worked, but he would ship it to me and I could try it and find out if it solves my problem.
No charge at this time. If it works then he said I could pay. What a great guy to do business with. I'm not sure I would get the same kind of treatment here in CA even though I'd like to think so.
He is the type of employee all employers want/need for the repeat business plus all the positive things passed around about the company on this forum and others.
