I have the manual and a bunch of other stuff from the previous owner of our 2000 U320, but I've never seen something titled "Build Sheet." Where should I look?
I call it a build sheet, but sure there are other names, like specification sheet: http://beamalarm.com/foretravel-links/models/2000-u320-specifications.pdf (http://beamalarm.com/foretravel-links/models/2000-u320-specifications.pdf)
and I have one that looks like this,: http://beamalarm.com/foretravel-links/models/1993-u225-240-gv-specifications.pdf (http://beamalarm.com/foretravel-links/models/1993-u225-240-gv-specifications.pdf), but is for my particular '94. It list all the equipment that it was delivered with.
Thank you Pat.
I love looking at the MSRP on our unit and being reminded how little we paid for our used motorhome 8 years after it was built.
It is a real challenge to try to get people who are looking at SOB to consider a used Foretravel. Many Foretravel units that are 8, 10 or more years old have more features than an SOB built this year.
So many of those people can't get past the shiny exterior and the newness of the RV.
I'm looking at a 1995 U320. It has a sad past( I have a soft spot in my heart for animals and machines) and I wanted to know all I could about it.
I emailed Foretravel customer service with the VIN and Model number.
The next day they sent me the "build sheet" for THAT coach. It included everything that was installed and custom installed for that particular coach when it left the factory.
I contacted Foretravel several times with questions about the engine and even what finish to use on the cabinets that will match the original stain/ finish.
I was VERY impressed with the service they provided me.
I just called Foretravel trying to get a "build sheet" or option sheet as my couch was delivered from the factory (it would be helpful for NADA valuation for financing). The answer I got from parts was "we don't provide that to the customers. The build sheet has every nut and bolt on the unit."
The answer when I pushed zero to reach operator was: "we don't give that out anymore because things change. Didn't the seller have one for you?"
Nobody really seemed interested in assisting with this simple request. I stated that others had received this information in the past and suggested I call the factory.
I'll just used the standard option sheet for now.
I would love to consider and older Foretravel unit. I just need to get my wife onboard with that. :)
