Title: Want a Monitor?
Post by: jor on January 22, 2011, 10:53:49 am
Anybody want this original CRT from a 93 225? Hate to throw away something that works fine. Just replaced it with a flat screen.

Isn't a replacement like $800 or something?

Perhaps for an OE monitor, but there are a LOT better choices at less $$.

If this would work in my 1991 U280 I would surely like it if it's not gone already :)

Hey, Brett. I ended up installing the same monitor you have. Thanks for the directions! Kinda funny. My son knew I wanted one so he started looking on the internet and what did he find? Your writeup, of course! Anyhow, that's the one he bought for us. Works great and looks good too!

Nice job.  Ya, that monitor and color camera are a great improvement.

Don't know if you let someone have that monitor, but if you didn't, I would like to have it. Mine got zapped with too much voltage. Thanks Tommy T. tommytstrat@yahoo.com.
