Title: CGs in and around Naco
Post by: John Lavery on February 04, 2011, 10:59:36 am
We need a nice place to stay in and around Naco while we try and sell our FT. Looking on line and it doesn't look promising. We could go to the Escapees park in Livingston but would like to stay closer to MOT, and FOT, for potential buyers. Any suggestions? John

If you are looking for a hotel try the Hotel Fredonia downtown.  Has a great lunch buffet, also.

Why not stay at Camp Foretravel. C.M. said any Foretravel owner was welcome. I know, I know C. M. doesn't have a say any more but the last I heard spaces were available to any of us for a small fee, if we were not doing business there. I would not put a "For Sale" sign in the window, however.

Never looked beyound Camp Foretravel, enjoyed the Hotel Fredonia buffet and the What-a-burger on North Street for a cheap/good breakfast. That town has somjething for everyone. After nearly 2 weeks in town between FOT, MOT,  The tire shop and Xtreme, learned more tha I needed. :)

When we sold our '93 and moved into our '95 (both private sales) we stayed at Camp Foretravel.  We WERE, however having Foretravel do some work on both coaches.  Oil changes, lubes, etc.  MOT wound up doing some things for the previous owner of our "new" coach, Xtreme touched up a few things, Herman Power Tire got some business ... we were all over town!  Have you asked the Sales dept at FOT if they have anyone looking for what you have to offer?  And MOT may have a customer waiting for just your floor plan, year, etc.  MOT is very short on inventory just now.  They have sold almost everything they have and they are looking for merchandise.

MOT sold our SOB 37' DP. (TMA, too many acronyms.  ;) )We received our check about ten days after we left the coach at their lot. All we had to do was get our stuff out of the coach and leave it with them. They definitely earned their commission with respect to price, time, and effort. Our net check was about the same as we had paid for the coach eight months earlier.

I think MOT indeed had a potential buyer before we left the coach with them. FOT may have potential buyers catalogued, also.

Best wishes for a smooth transition.
