Not sure if you were directing your question to me? I've contacted two outfits; Infinity in Nac. & Fancher in Michigan. I don't remember if the $700 labor plus additional for materials was Fancher or Infinity. Ultra leather was approx $40 per yard and about 9 yards are needed (I think...again it's been a little while since I contacted these folks and I didn't write it down).
I spoke with Mitch at Infinity in Nac yesterday. For our '03 (ye of the bulbous barcalounger Villa seats), he quoted $900 per for labor, Ultraleather $72/yard, probably 5 yards for driver, up to 7 for the big, wide, buddy seat. Currently booked until mid April.

So I'm to understand it would be $1800 for both captain chairs plus the material? Mitch had quoted me $900 plus materials for the couch, so $900 per chair seems a little high for my simple brain.

That is my understanding (and what I have jotted down) - $900 labor per seat.
We need to check with David Flanagan at FOT as well. The factory shop did a great job on our sofa 2 years ago and we'd love to use them again if the price and schedule could work out. It's the schedule in particular that's tough with FOT's remodeling team - they're always booked up far in advance. Never mind the "Country Coach bays", we need a "ForeForums remodeling bay" for all of us who love our coaches so much, we remodel/redecorate rather than replace ;)

I agree, that would be a neat thing. A Foreforum bay. I got on David's schedule but it was two months out and he has a full remod of a beaver started this week. He also has the buddy rally that will have lots of work so get on his schedule before that rolls into town or you will wait till winter..
Am presently back in Nac and thing it is time for management to know they need more seasoned employees in the remodel shop. They currently have 3-4 and could easily handle 6. Will talk to David tomorrow and discuss what can be done to help his shop be more profitalble for the corporation....will repost later.

I replaced both the driver's and the passenger's seat portion at the factory in 2010. I realize you're talking about the entire seat, but thought this might also give you something to compare. The leather (matched the original leather) for both seats was $400. The labor cost of $480 was for changing the 2 seat cushions, but also included some work on the surface of the J couch. Sorry, can't give you the labor cost for just the front seats. Hope this helps.

I was wondering if they still have the same leather that was used on our 2003 U320. I suppose if they matched up your 2001, they must keep extra materials from older years. We viewed a new Nimbus #6537 at FOT and loved the two toned leathers on chairs,couch and windows, but it would not match our current leather. I really think the couches in the Foretravels are not very comfortable and seem hard to us. Have any of you been able to get softer more comfortable couches?
Our J couch was restored by the FOT shop in 2009 and is now very comfortable. I presume they used a different density of foam and our couch has the breathable Ultra Leather upholstery which we like better than leather.
