Anyone have a clue what the PID 84 10 is caused by, what is wrong etc. It is not on my VMSpc, but is on a friends with the ISM450, he called me, All I can find is the Road Speed sensor ?
Any one have a clue ??

I did have that problem about 1,000 miles ago. It has not occurred again.
Now at HWH. For a finicky slide in sensor. Then on to cummins for the speed sensor. I hate electronics.
Just had a long talk with Cummins at Richmond Va, the 241 or 242 code with the PID 84 10, will be a loose or defective sender on the tail shaft of the transmission, some times it can be tightened up, some times it needs to be replaced. They feel that is the only possibility for that code, Now need to crawl under and have a look see..

Thanks Dave, I am still at HWH with a gauge attached to the pump and to see if we leak down while sitting overnight.
Time will tell I guess. I hope they find why the slide would not pin sunday....
