Coleen and I did purchase a 1995 U240. We are wondering why we took a detour with a SOB. We really like this Foretravel. It is a real pleasure to drive. Doesn't wander and goes where it's pointed without constant attention. And the interior is prefect. Few light bulbs here and there. And the Cat sips fuel compared to our Allegro Bus.
My question today is what have you done to upgrade your Coach. Fridge needs attention. All the decals have been removed. I would like to make it original. It was not the signature red. One decal on the bottom remains and it is a grey/blue. If you have one this color I would be grateful for pictures.
Thanks.
Xtreme Paint and Graphics in Nacogdoches can do a "Level 1" paint job that will make your coach look like original. We bought a 1997 U295 about 15 months ago. One salesman told me that the graphics were painted rather than being "stick on" vinyl. Being a newbie, I thought he was blowing smoke. When we were Xtreme last week, they confirmed that indeed our coach was painted. The colors and patterns are as original, but will hold up much better than "stick on." The folk at Xtreme repaired some wounds that we inflicted upon our coach and matched up the colors with the previous paint job.
Barry Beam may have some photo brochures of the original graphics for that year and model in his MASSIVE archives. Xtreme Paint and Graphics can help, as well. James Stallings worked at FOT for many years and ran their paint shop. The young man who runs it now was trained by him. Quality work both places, but James uses the best paint on the planet and IMO can't be beat. We have seen some paint jobs done elsewhere ... not always bad ... but you can really see the difference. they can also bring your gel coat back to "brand new" status. There is NOTHING that they do not know about the outside of the coach, and you can watch them every step of the way. <www.xtremegraphics.net>

Xtreme Paint & Graphics is consistently quality oriented. One of the few places that does what it says and James' word is his bond.
At the time that we had the 'Phenix' style xenon lights installed, FOT replaced our decals and Justin from the paint shop helped us choose colors to personalize the paint scheme using the original graphic design and keeping the awning color in the new color selection. We also had the textured coating put on the roof of the coach which makes care of the roof so much easier...no more waxing the roof! The other coating that we had FOT put on is the protective coating for top and bottom of the front end of the coach. We have had many interior upgrades done at FOT as well. We have been very pleased with the paint and re mod depts of FOT.
We have many happy memories in the 5 1/2 years we have enjoyed our Made in Texas coach and trust that you will do the same.

I am on the road now but I have a photo of a 1995 U240 that shows the color scheme at

Thanks Barry. You can email them to me at your leisure. For now Casper is pure white.
