The nearest Cummins Certified Service to me is in Knoxville.
Please advise if you have had service there as to your satisfaction with their service.
If you have had a good experience with another Center, please let me know. I much prefer not to have to take the coach too far away from east Tennessee.
Thanks for any input.
Duane,
No experience with the Knoxville Cummins, but have you considered Cummins at Troutville, Va (Roanoke), they have a good record.
Think about 35 miles difference in travel for you to the Roanoke area ?
Cheers
I was not impressed with Cummins Crosspoint LLC, Knoxville. Once they got to work it was okay, but in my case the bad part was the three day wait in their parking lot with only a broke fan belt. Once they got to work, they were excellent. It was just a matter of getting the rig into the garage! The price and quality of work was reasonable. If you had a appointment, it might be okay. I was towed in without a appointment and staying in the coach. No a lot to do around there.
A couple of years ago I had a problem on the road. The shop (With "Cummins" painted on the building) cost me unnecessary expense, and I ended up limping home with the problem partially fixed because of their $4K estimate to fix it completely. At home, I went to a certified Cummins shop (Cal-Pacific) and had the problem fixed for $100.
