I am receiving Direct TV but not the local channels which I subscribe to. I am parked in my driveway. Receive them inside the house. Called direct TV and they said I needed to receive sat#119 to get them. I have 101 and 110 locked in on the trac star dome. How do you add 119 to the system. Or, is this a two sat. system??? tks DAN
I have my Directv antenna programmed for the 101 and 119, the 110 is only for HD, I do not have HD.
Cheers
Dave I assume you have the new direct tv dish type on the roof. I have the old trac star dome.
Surely there are some instructions. Got a start from MOT they sent to me part of the instructions.
Tks DAN
Should be able to get the info from their website I think.
I just fumble through the control until it looks ok, then I hope it works.
Also, I have called them and they talked me through the setup, and it worked too.
Dave: took yur advice and google for a tracstar manual. Got it. It appears I can get the 119 satellite all in the programing but with the manual i can get it done Tks dan
Dan... last month, I posted about the TracStar and attached two manuals... the main user manual and a user manual specifically for service techs (both of which I, too, found by Googling around). Here they are again, in case you only found one.
Pat tks I saved both of them on my computer for future reference. DAN
Satellite antennas with multiple LNB heads can receive signals from multiple satellites at the same time. Currently only Winegard and Motosat make these antennas for RVs in an open dish. (We greatly prefer Winegard as it works very well all the time.)
All domed satellite antennas have only one LNB head and can see only one satellite at a time, making it difficult to use HD DVRs. Domes can be programed to automatically move between several different satellites when channel change requires it.
I don't know how to include 119 in domed moves.
