I'm thinking of moving my Cellular Booster Antenna (Wilson Trucker) to the top of the Winegard Bat Wing Antenna. If it is attached to the top of the plastic center section it will be upright at all times and can be used while the coach is in motion. Then when parked, it can be raised to the coaches highest point and even rotated to see it that helps with signal strength. I use the cellular antenna for Internet Access so a good signal is paramount when parked.
My question is will the cellular antenna have a bad effect on TV reception and will the Bat Wing TV antenna have a bad effect on the cellular antenna. My guess is that neither will affect the other but I know there are experts out there on the forum that can help me avoid making a mistake. Your opinions will be appreciated.
I put the wilson trucker in my last coach. I just drilled a hole in the front cabinet and put it thru the hole with the wire coming down. You are in a GV so you will have to use a side cabinet. It should work that way with out an issue. I woujld do the drivers side so if you are running a road with an overhanging branches it will not hit the wilson that way....
John, I already have a Wilson Trucker mounted on the side coming down through the cabinet but I want to get it up higher. That's why I thought of mounting it on the Bat Wing.

I mounted our Wilson Trucker antenna on the mast of the Winegard with the antenna parallel to the mast, so it lays down when the Winegard is down and is out of the way of tree branches. Plenty of reception in most places even with it down, and even better when up, and there's no interference with TV signals.
Howdy Bob,
Great installation and good photos!! Would you please share what type/brand antenna system you have?? I think I'll do the same thing..
Thanks, Dave Abel

You can buy a marine mount that has a lever that allows you to 'lower the mast' at up to a 90 degree angle. You can then buy or make whatever height mast you want to extend your trucker antenna. bolt it on the driver's side in the vicinity of your side mount CB antenna (or replacing it since nobody uses them anymore) and fab up a resting mount. Side mounting the antenna makes concern about leaks a remote issue.
If you pull in somewhere you can raise your antenna in 30-40 seconds if you carry a ladder with you - or in a couple of minutes if you use the rear ladder.
My idea is to mount it on the flat white center of the bat wing. That way it is upright with the ground plane in the proper attitude whether the TV mast is up or down. I guess we shall see fairly soon whether this is a good idea or not.
