Title: Recent Outstanding Service by Pacific Power
Post by: Paul Smith on August 04, 2011, 09:48:05 pm
Over a year ago John Christman recommended Pacific Power to us.  At the time PPwr gave us some good advice over the phone.

About a year ago MOT changed the engine and generator oil and loaded Transynd for the first time in the transmission of our 40ft 1999 U320

So after our recent trip West on US-2 from Upper Michigan we scheduled having (1) engine oil, (2) Tranny oil and (3) engine radiator coolant fluid analysed through PPwr in Kent, WA.  The Lab reported (1) and (2) were fine. (So I'll repeat in a year.)  But found (3) had trace amounts of a non-metallic black substance.

Anyone have any ideas about the "black substance?"

When I setup my appointments at PPwr I mentioned the generator problem I've posted about here earlier.  PPwr told they have another service center in Kent: Pacific Power Generation. So I set up an appointment with them 2 days hence.  By the time I showed up for that appointment, my generator was no longer acting up. So I asked them to replace the inline fuel filter some here had found to be the source of my previous problem.  Believe it or not, they refused to charge me for changing it.  So I had to come back to them with some goodies from Panera Bread.

Anyway, my point is Pacific Power is a good option to Cummins service in the NW (and I'm told not as expensive as Cummins NW).

Moreover, Pacific Power is a class operation.  They have more locations in the NW besides Kent.  Highly Recommended.

Thanks!  I love knowing about a good service location in an area that I am intending to see!
