I am complete rookie but I have been interested in Foretravels for 3 years. I located a 1999 on rvt that sounds pretty good.
Does anyone know the coach? The problem I am having besides being so green, is that the contact number is Brad Nerhus in Calif. and the owner is Bob in Payson, Az.
So i would really appreciate your help. The mileage is under 50000, it has 450hp engine in a 36' coach, and the price seems fair at $69,000 maybe too cheap for a 1999. I just do not know if it is too good to be true it usual is.
Thank you John
I believe Brad Nerhus is with California Coach Company in Costa Mesa, CA. He may be selling it on consignment. California Coach handles many Foretravels and has a good reputation.
That is a pretty good price for a 99 320 depending on Condition. California Coach is a good outfit to deal with and Brad is a FT owner too. Used to work at the Foretravel Dealership out there I think.
Brad is on this forum also. You can PM him directly to get the low-down on the coach. He'll tell you the truth about what he knows about its condition. Anyway, if you pay a low price, expect to pump more money into it to bring it to par condition for that year.
Not all folks are greedy. So the best bet is to have someone you hire perform an inspection.
Ave pricing for this model and year. Condition is the key. I paid 80k four years ago for my 95 U320 40 footer at the top of the market.
got my 2000 U295 a yr ago in Costa Mesa (private) and in A1 condition with full paint, 350 cummins, with Banks, and a lot of other improvements for $68k so that is also a good price. It had around 50k miles on, and the one you are looking at is a 320 so more money and bigger engine.
John
Hello,
In over 16 years of selling Foretravels, owning 2 and being a member of the Motorcade club, I have made a few friends. From time to time they call, ask advice and sometimes solicit my help in marketing their Foretravels.
Such is the case with this 1999 Foretravel. I can assure you that this coach has been well cared for and definitely shows the pride of ownership that many members of this forum feel for their own Foretravels. As for the pricing, it is comparatively priced with other like units that we have recently confirmed to be sold around the country.
So, If their is any thing I can help you with, I'm available.

We paid $80K for our 1999 40ft U320 a year ago last Spring. Here's what it looks like:

I have met Brad and found him to be a good guy and knowledgable too. I also have met Steve who owns Cal. Coach company and found them to be great to deal with. I think you will be very happy to deal with them and they will help you find the coach that is right for you....
