Title: Where can one get an FT owner's manual?
Post by: Merle Hench on August 16, 2011, 10:45:35 pm
Greetings,

Forgive me if this has been asked before. I have but a few pages of the owner's manual for my 1991 U225. Is there an electronic copy available anywhere, or should I just contact FT? Thanks for any assistance you can offer.  :)

No idea about a electronic version, but I gave FOT my VIN, they sent me a new owners manual for my 2001 320, think cost about $40.00.  Glad to get it.
Well worth the cost.

Thanks Dave.  :)

Building a list of parts I need to order from FT. I'll add the manual to that list. Hopefully they go back that far.

Found most of the Cummins manuals I need on ebay. While I can't fix everything myself, I like to know what's going on.

Call Mike, the Parts Department Manager. He had the manuals for my '89 and knew just where they were. The other two guys in the Dept. might not know where the manuals are.

This, FORETRAVEL Motorhomes service and Repair Information (http://www.beamalarm.com/foretravel-links/foretravel-links.htm), is the closest thing you will find to a on-line manual.  But you need to use the search function.

Thanks all.  ;D

I was all over Barry's website months before I bought my coach.  :) In fact, without it, I doubt I'd ever have purchased an FT without it.

It's the drawings and schematics I'm after mostly. Have about 15 pages total - I know I'm missing a lot of info.

Sorry the factory has no info for you, know you had to have checked with them by now.

Not yet. Haven't finished my list of bits to order from FT yet.  :) Working on my gen slide-out mod today.

When ready, I'll give Mike Grimes a call.

Steve,
I emailed you a scanned copy of the owners manual yesterday.
