Does anyone have an opinion on King Controls new HD antenna? I am looking to upgrade my antenna to HD and this one seems very simple and compact.
I had a small compact automatic dish. Got rid of it for Traveler. You could never get me to give it up. Arrive at campsite. Level coach with hwh. Press on button on traveler. Wait a few minutes. Watch tv.

We are watching for "reports from the field" as well; it's a fairly new item. We do have a Wingman on our Winegard crank up, but it doesn't have the greatest range.
Tim, the "Jack" is for OTA TV, not satellite.
One thing to note - the ceiling "wart" interior control for the Jack only comes in white and there are no plans to offer it in ivory/beige. I e-mailed King Controls to ask (and they suggested perhaps I could have it custom painted ::) )

No such thing as an off-air HD antenna, even though they market them as such. Most digital TV broadcasting is done on regular "old fashioned" UHF channels 14-83, with some still on VHF 2-13. These are the same channels and frequencies used for 50 years. All old antennas can receive digital HD off-air signals. But a new antenna may do a little better job, but it is not needed to receive digital or HD TV. All recent antenna advertising has pretty much confused the facts. An TV with a digital tuner is necessary if you don't use a digital-to-analog converter box.
