Title: outside coax connections
Post by: Dwayne on September 06, 2011, 03:04:14 pm
On my rig I have a cable connection in the wet bay and two on the entry side rear by the phone hook-up.  Currently only the forward of the two on the entry side works.  I imagine the connections are all under the closet floor.  I'm just wondering why two coax connections on the entry side right next to each other?  One at each side makes sense but two on one side doesn't.  What am I missing?

If I remember correctly on my old 93 GV the cables came in to splitters etc in the closet wall behind were the tv in bedroom is. There is also a false floor panel at bottom of closet that lifts up. Try and see if yours is the same

As John says, my "OLD"  ;-) '93 has one in the wet locker and the amp, splitter is under the closet floor. The last owner probable had a portable satellite in one of the two to the amp or satellite receiver and then one is back out so he could watch TV outside.

Switch for the amp is above and behind the driver's head. Floor is a little tough to get up as the location was not a good idea.

The last owner of mine ran a cable in through the nose to the sat receiver and TV so you are never quite sure. Harbor Freight has a two piece signal injector so you can inject at one end and then find which cable is which and then use a label maker.
