Title: Texas driver's license renewal Residence Certification
Post by: Barry & Cindy on October 12, 2011, 07:26:07 pm
Texas asks what type of home we live in when renewing our driver's license.  This question is on the bottom of the short renewal form we sign:

Application requires choosing that our residence address is one of the following:  1) single family dwelling, 2) apartment, 3) motel, 4) temporary shelter.

Choices are surprising limited. . .

Yep, my Foretravel is titled and registered in NYS as a "H/WH", aka House/Wheel House or House on Wheels.  Only one family here.

A point of interest is the wording that we: Certify that the ADDRESS is a single family home, etc. Who has their motorhome parked at their address?

Uh, we do. BUT, we are S&B full timers and FT part timers. Adjustments and interpretations must be implemented for you courageous folk who dare to challenge the "norms." Keep up the good work!

I guess we could put some sleeping bags in our 9X12 shed in Livingston if push comes to shove.
