I have the Pressure Pro mounted on dash above the rear view screen, problem even with the 36' coach, it is a hit & miss receiving from rear of coach and even the toad, some times it works. Was told I would not need the repeater for a short coach, so there must be a hot spot to mount the receiver. Question is Where ?
Dave,
I have mine sitting against the drivers window and see the car and coach sensors all the time no problem.
Dave.... We also have a 36' and had a similar experience. The PP would work most of the time, but there were periods where one or more of the toad sensors were not received by the monitor on the dash. Putting in a repeater did not seem to help until I realized that the antennas on the repeater were not screwed into the unit fully. Once I had that fixed, it has worked flawlessly with the toad. I wired it into a 12v line in the cabinet above the bed and Velcroed it to the back wall when we are underway. I posted on the this previously.
Dave, I put the PP in the black tank. :) :D ;D ^.^d ^.^d ^.^d
I have the PP receiver mounted on the wall next to the drivers left elbow. So far I have had no problem getting readings from all tires including the Subaru towed, assuming the sending units are working properly. So far I have had three sending units that have been a problem but the ones I am using now work fine.
I have the Truck systems tech unit and have mounted it next to the computer I use for VMS pc ( see picture in the article "viewing VMSpc etc etc" earlier today I posted. No problems so far although I do not have them on tow car yet

We love our Pressure Pro and by the way Pressure Pro has sensors on sale for $35 each (no trade-in needed) until December. Also have some sales on monitors, too, but no special pricing on repeaters.
Wrong on 36' coaches not needing repeater for high reliability, especially when sensor batteries are older and it is cold out. Also had temporary loss of reception due to radio interferences.
We have had low signal reception at dash monitor from inside rear duals and tow car before repeating.
Some Topic titles are better than others, but this one is a winner:
Bill,
You beat me to it. I was going to suggest to Dave, that the "Best Location for the pp" was in his pants...
I mounted the receiver to the swing-up table on the center console, and added the PressurePro remote antenna, which is temporarily mounted about 6' back on the drivers side inside wall. Permanent antenna mounting will be inside one of the cabinets further back when I get time to route the cable. Even the current position works fine almost always, but there are times when RF interference causes the toad sensors to drop out momentarily.
Barry,
Where are those available from? I did a search for Pressure Pro sensors and could only see the $50.00 price.
Thank you,
Rick,
Same here. I did pm Mike Mcfall and when I hear back from him will post...
I found this web site with sending units for $40. Replacement TPMS parts and accessories for RV's for Sale Online - Vulcan Tire (http://www.vulcantire.com/pressurepro_rv_acc.htm)

If buying $35.00 pressure pros use the following guidelines.....FWIW
You need to be careful about buying someone old stock.......The markings on the current Sensors are 2 double orange spots......Be sure they have those 2 dots on the bottom of the Sensor. Any other color is old stock..... Also note that there is a circle on the bottom of the Sensor, , its very small and you will need a magnifying glass to read it. The date in the center of the circle is the year of manufacture and the arrow points to the month of manufacture.. This is on all Sensors..
Barry, Jeff, Don,
Thank you for the info.
RE: Pressure Pro sensors - The date in the center of the circle is the year of manufacture and the arrow points to the month of manufacture.
Thanks Jeff & Carol about the date on the bottom of the sensors. All of the 10 new ones we just bought from Pressure Pro for $35 each have two orange dots and were manufactured during May 2011. Good information. Don't know how you do it, but you guys know everything. Nice to know we got the latest electronics & battery in our new sensors.
