My generator starts fine from the unit but I got nuthin' at the dash and the bedroom. There is no power to the dash switch. I recently put in a new backup monitor and I had some items disconnected. I was thinking maybe I inadvertently shorted out that wire. I can't locate a fuse for this switch, just the panel breaker on the wall in the driver's side compartment. Everything else is working fine.
I saw that GeorgeH had the same problem last year and I sent him a PM. Also, I'm missing the schematic labeled Dash Breaker Panel, B2197 if anyone happens to have one you could send me.
Thanks.

Jor.... It took the FOT tech about 5 minutes to figure out the problem... a loose or disconnected cable going into the electronics box of the generator. He reattached it... problem solved. Our 2003 U295 36' has a PowerTech generator.
Still looking at the generator remote start issue. Haven't been able to find any loose wires. Anyhow, the general automotive schematic notes a Dash Breaker Panel (B2197). Anyone have any idea where this breaker panel might be. This has got to be something very simple, either the loose wire that George suggested or a breaker. If I don't get any ideas here, I think I'll call James at FT Monday. Thanks.

jor, I am not sure of your configuration, on my 01 320, if I have the selector switch in wrong position on the generator panel, the remote does not work. So maybe worth a look see and play with it a little. Also I assume you have the auto start on decreasing battery voltage sensor too ? If so, that will not work either until the selector is in correct position.
Dave, I thought the On/Off was a momentary switch because when I toggled up to the on position, it toggled right back. Anyhow, after reading your post, I had my wife push in the dash start switch while I held that On/Off up in the On position and whadayaknow, vroooom! The switch now stays in the on position too. Maybe I wasn't toggling it hard enough but ALL IS WELL. Thanks.
