I want to install an articulating LCD TV wall mount in my basement right where the Aqua Hot coolant expansion tank is located. (see pic 2000 U320)
1. As long as I stay at the same height, can I move this tank back along the bulkhead to give me clearance for a TV wall mount? My only other option would be to build a box around the tank so I can see it and access it when needed I guess.
2. The bulkheads seem to be all wood??? No problems just mounting brackets on the wall using short screws right?
Side note - I mounted a 19" TV in the bedroom using a cheap satellite tripod I got from camping world and a pole mount. I had to cut he rounded bottom flat on one side so it would fit flush with the cabinet. Worked great with no mods required to the original cabinet.
Thanks!
Steve,
No problem.
Steve,
I can't see any reason why you can't do your mod as you describe. The bulkhead walls are either aluminum or fiberglass laminated styrofoam. You can use small screws for the job...predrill first. Good luck
ps I made my own TV mount for the bedroom. Yours looks very good.
