Title: leveling valve
Post by: Jerry Galliart on November 19, 2011, 05:53:16 pm
On the way home from the nascar race on Thursday we were 50 miles out of tucson when the smelled burnt rubber and a little noise in the rear end.  we pulled over and found the right rear sitting on the tire. we made it quarter mile to a flying j. No one could help us two calls for service, we only work on RVs not Foretravels. Called Mike at MOT he told me to manually level the coach and pull the travel fuse. Hour later we dropped the coach at Lazydays Tucson. MANY THANKS TO MIKE AND MOT.

Along similar topic, about five days ago, I raised the coach to full height, it has been there ever since.  The great and funny thing is it has stayed right there, no dropping at any corner, the other is the electric air pump runs very very seldom, maybe twice a day for a about a minute.
When I normally park the coach in the garage, within about a week or two, it slowly settles some, and the compressor runs a few times a day.
So, I figure the air bags are holding fine, and guess there is a slight leaking  around the leveling valves maybe, guess I need to further check for air leaks (soapy bubbles) around all the valves leveling and the HWH leveling jobs too.
Just interesting.
