Title: Aqua Hot Dry Camping
Post by: jor on January 03, 2012, 08:32:20 pm
Follow up to my Aqua Hot post the other day. We dry camped for two nights and all went well regarding electrical draw from the Aqua Hot. Temps were in the 40s at night. Ran the heater both mornings for more than four hours, showered, watched some recorded media from the satellite receiver and DVD shows (all with the Bose). Ran the microwave for 5 minutes and 3 minutes, charged up electronics and, of course, used interior lights. Anyhow, still had 80% (okay, okay, almost 80) battery charge remaining. So I figure, in mild winter camping, we should be able to go four days or more without the generator if necessary.

Remember you don't want to let the batteries go below 50% to avoid damaging them.
