Title: What is this Thing?
Post by: jor on January 06, 2012, 09:38:36 am
I had the bottom drawer out below the stove a couple of days ago. I see this box in there. Any idea what it might be? It's a Unity Mfg enclosure with 120v into it. Thanks.

I think I found out mine was the Relay that turns on the Aquahot on Electric.
Flip the Aquahot Electric rocker switch and listen for a relay click.

We have a similar relay in the same area that is used to control the 120VAC element in the instant hot water dispenser. I associated the relay with the rocker switch using the method Barry suggested. I could hear the relay click when I operated the rocker switch.

Hey, thanks guys. It's bad enough when you can't figure out how to fix something but not even being able to identify its purpose... Well, that another thing altogether. I'll flip the switch and listen for the click!
