Title: Tow vehicle
Post by: Greg and Viv on January 13, 2012, 07:33:45 pm
What kind of electrical receptacle do I use for my tow vehicle. I don't have the usual 5 point on the coach, I'm not sure what kind it is.

Usually, one can get an adapter that will allow the lead wiring for the tow to be connected to the motorhome plugin.  These are usually available from a RV source.  One plugs into what you have and provides a female to the towed vehicle wires.

A few months ago, I got an adapter from Camping World that plugs into the round (5 or 7 pin) connector on the coach. The adapter then is the flat (4 or 5 pin) female connector to accept the (4 or 5 pin) plug from our tow dolly.
