Kenny Lemon has given a tentative date and place for the next 4 Corners Chapter Rally, May 22 - 28 in Durango CO.
Mark your calendars for this one.
It is a beautiful location for more face to face time.
Put me down as the 1st YES we will be there responder 8)
That is one I think I will see about making. I have never been there but it is suppose to be pretty.
George and I - and Cosmo, of course - are planning to be there, too!
It's been a few years since we last visited Durango (in our Airstream trailer), so we're looking forward to a return trip - especially with Foretravel friends! ^.^d
I like the dates and will try to make it also. Dan & Shirley
Who do you contact for this rally information???? DAN
No information available yet , just the dates. As it materializes we will post it here.
Dan, as Barry mentions, we'll have more information soon. I'm the newly elected chapter secretary :o, so I will be sending out an email (and snail-mail if no email) mailing to all chapter members when we have the details - plus we'll post here as well. Stay tuned!
OK will keep the dates in mine. DAN
Those dates could work for us too. We'll pencil in the dates.

It looks like Audrey & I will be able to do it also.
The current plan is to make it the start of our annual 2012 ( six-month, 11K miles) trip to Virginia.
We also hope to do the NW chapter rally in Cody prior to the Hwy 93 motorcade.
We missed Quartzite, Nadine and I will not miss this one.
We are hoping to come, but several things have to fall in place for us to make it!
Molly just gave Phyllis and I permisson to come . So that is the plan .
Will Molly bring her cat? If not, I'd really love to see a picture of that dog carrying
her cat around... as you've mentioned in a previous post... truly, a "Kodak moment," I would think! :))
That cat "Pepper " is strictly an outside cat .Phyllis tried to give Pepper a ride on her lap in the car ---she bleed a fair amount ,so the answer is no , however that would be neet .
That part of Colorado is my personal favorite part and I would dearly love to be able to attend. The DW will still be working, however. Rats. I have not been there for ten years or more. Sigh. Some of the most beautiful mountain bike trails in the world are in the 4-corners area. I hope Brad M. can slow his ATV down and take a lot of photos.

Tried to call for reservations and got a recording they are closed for the season. Checked online and their season doesn't start until April 1. They do have online reservations at the website. I guess I can do that and write Foretravel Rally in the comments.

Unfortunately Dori & I will not be able to attend the rally. :( We are still working on our condo to get it ready to sell. The good news is painting is almost finished. The bad news is we still have the kitchen remodel left to go plus a friends wedding in Albuquerque, NM.
All of you who are going you will have a blast. Dori & I spent 2 weeks last September at the Alpen Rose RV Park. It's a very nice park and is right across the highway from the Durango/Silverton railroad tracks. There are 2 trains that run in the morning and the evening. It's great fun to go out and wave at the passengers as they go by. We highly advise taking the train ride to Silverton. Also make some time to drive the million dollar highway. Fun, fun, fun. Also take in the Steamworks Brewery in downtown Durango. Great beer & food.
Hope to make the Four Corners Rally next year!

To the 4 Corners Chapter Rally Group:
Thank you for making us feel so welcomed, and for the great time! To Kenny and Annette we won't try to keep up with you anymore. We have learned our lesson,
too much energy. ^.^d
Alice and I would like second that! A great time with great people! thank you to the Lemons.
A postscript to the rally: For rally attendees, thank you for your prayers and good wishes. Nadine is well into a great recovery from her surgery. We arrived home today on the 17th day of a 7-day trip.
For those who were not at the rally, Nadine had emergency gall bladder surgery the second day of the rally. Due to some minor complications and the Memorial Day weekend, she spent eight days in the hospital.
All is well, thanks again.
Bob
That is great news Bob ^.^d
Great news. We have thought of you and Nadine quite often but somehow never got around to calling. Thanks for the update.
Glad to hear everything is going good for Nadine now! Thanks for posting it we were wondering about her and wish her a fast recovery!
