Moose is in the shop getting the wet bay modified and dump valves fixed. One of the things I wanted installed was a black tank flush valve. I thought I saw a picture of a mod like that on this board somewhere but I can't find it. I need a pic or a diagram to send to the shop to use as an example. I'm trying to avoid having to hook up another hose to an inlet connection to do a flush ( although tha would work fine) and want to be able to just turn a valve. I'm using the connection that would normally go to the faucet outside.
Thanks in advance!
Here is a diagram of the "No Fuss Flush" Tank flush modification.

Interesting! When we bought "The Burrow" in Oct 2009 (this was pre-ForeForum days) I called Foretravel asking for the exact same information. I was told by the service dept. person (?) that they didn't know of any such system, but would look for it and call me back one way or another. Not to hijack this thread, but I never heard back from FT. Wish I had known Barry back then. Thanks to ForeForums, I use the Valterra "third valve system". . .so far so good.
They installed mine back in 2003. I wonder if they misunderstood what you were needing or describing.
Could be.
Doesn't "Moose" (George Stoltz's former coach) have a third valve installed? If so, you can flush the black with the gray tank contents. Works very well in my experience... we also have a third valve. In fact I added it after George's experience with it. Basically, you close the third valve and open the gray and black after the black is empty. Once the gray has flowed into the black tank, close the gray valve and open the third valve. Do this several times and it removes a lot of the residue that is often left in the back tank. We also have a flush system like Barry has, but I only use it about once per month.
Yes Moose has a 3rd valve. If I were full timing I'd not need a black tank flush, but since I park it for awhile, I wanted a flush to get "everything." :) The shop has the bay tore apart to fix the grey water valve anyway, so while they're there...
Think George posted pics of the mod when He did it.
Here is one of the threads: Using newly added Valtera gate valve on sewer line (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=11225.0)
Could not find pics, but they are here somewhere. Basically just a third valve so you can transfer fluid from one tank to another, or work on system without spilling anything.
