Saw on Facebook that FOT is having a sale. McD blinds 10% off (+MC discount), 20% off roof painting, 10 % off shocks (+MC discount) 10% off fluid and filters (+MC discount). Month of March. Haven't been able to find anyother information on web site. Will stop over today and see if I can find any other items on sale and repost.
Cool! We need a couple of F/F maintenance things done in service.
Too bad there isn't a sale on headlight/tail light conversions (especially given paint/body work aren't given a MC discount since they're sublet to FT). That's our big expense for March. Hmm... since they're offering 20% off roof painting, perhaps they could expand it to include the conversions? We and Tom (txforetravel) would be ever so grateful ;D
Michelle
Oh Yes that would be ideal! and carpet installation! Now, a discount for new shocks and a painted roof too? I think this is a joint effort between FOT and the city of Nac! Economic Stimulas maybe?
I called for an appointment today, and going to dig up a box of money and take it east for service, and more. Our first trip to Nac with a Foretravel.
Ah, the first pilgrimmage to Meccadoches.... complete with offerings... :))

Hahahahahahaha! I'm cryin'!!
Actually ... Jeff and I arrived with a list of about 15 little things that we needed them to look at. The MCD shade installations aside ... the entire list was completed in about 4 hours and cost us less than $500. We would have screwed up at east 9 of the items had we tried to address these things ourselves, and we would have spent $1000 bucks. We proudly represent the folks who do very little work on our coach. Our favorite "tool" is the telephone.
A good friend who owns a Prevot, always reminds me that, "I don't have a budget, I have a motorhome". Afraid he is correct. But hope that I have saved enough doing everything so far that I can, and the experts can help with the rest.
Now just need the weather to allow my crew to finish some work, so I can get out of town.
Dolly here,
Dave has been reading the posts to me for sometime now,
Just now he read this to me
"Ah, the first pilgrimmage to Meccadoches.... complete with offerings... :))"
Made me laugh so hard!
Too funny
Thanks Michelle

I assume you and Steve are in Nac now. Press FOT for a discount on the headlight/taillight and then let me know! We'll be there next thursday to drop off the coach for new headlights!
Enjoy Nac and keep your wallet in your pocket! It's an expensive city! :)
I need 80% off that new IH-45 ;D
I like how you think Steve! Sign me up!
Hardly. At the coach in storage reinstalling MCD blinds today
ETA - sorry - didn't realize that posted while I was typing earlier today (stupid little phone keyboard :-[ )
We are now thinking it will be early Saturday morning when we head to Nac. We brought the coach home tonight after checking the weather (and assuring the severe weather/hail threat was over), have it dewinterized except for sanitizing the freshwater system. The foul weather threw a wrench into our plans to get to Nac tomorrow. And I just realized tomorrow will be the Spring Break exodus, so good not to be on the roads around here tomorrow.
Heck, we still don't even know how long we'll be in Nac this trip - depends on when they need to start keeping the coach indoors overnight as part of the conversion work. We'll stay as long as we can.
Michelle
Michelle & Steve,
Xtreame was finishing the step conversion and begun painting the roof so we headed to Austin yesterday to meet Benji and have dinner with my bro. Loved Black Rock..Should have stayed another nite, but missed our bed.
Got back to Nac and Greg told us we had to stay indoors while paint set because of rain...Not going to happen. Carol and I would be high for a week with the fumes...Another nite in Hotel...Checked into Fredonia downtown....We love older hotels, but this one is a minus 4/ scale one to 10...Also, stay far away from restaurant...takes a lot for me to send a meal back...and the second try wasn't much better..
Unless things change with the weather, we won't make it on Sunday. . .I don't drive in wind, rain or dark of night. . .a failure as a mailman. With movers coming early on Tuesday to haul the stix & brix stuff to Illinois, we will head for Nac as soon as they are through. Someone please leave the light on for us!
It is raining buckets right now in Nac. Thunder and lightning ... POURING! Flash flood warnings all over the place. Glad to be indoors ... wish it was in my cozy coach instead of this hotel room with the crappy mattress.
Carol, glad you and Jeff are back. We have 2.5 inches of rain in past four hours. We need that much again. And may get it. This weather can seem a bit strong but so far no tornado activity so just enjoy the light show.
Looks as though Monday will be clear for us, will get back with you and Dick and Rocky, Don and Trudy. Sorry John Haygarth left. Steve and Michelle will hopefully be around Monday. As I see the weather, rain returns Tuesday or wednesday. At the moment hard to believe in E. Texas last year was the worst drought in over 100 years. Mike
On the FOT website - new sale for April - fluids and filters and shocks again. Upholstery and Armor Coat discounts are new.

The new (May) sale is up on the FOT website....
Nice deal on the headlight/foglight upgrade (as Cory had mentioned to the folks at the Mid-South Rally last month).

Sure glad we won't be anywhere near Nac this summer...This conversion is close to the top on our list. Carol keeps adding things she would like; I may have to get her to go back to work....
the sale flyer mentions Sensatank holding tank sensors. I think these may work quite well on our slanted holding tanks that are held in place with the steel cross brace. The sensor pads can be placed so they correctly read out the levels. Our tanks hold much more per inch near the top then near the bottom where the inside volume is less because of the slanted tanks we have.
Another brand tank sensor cannot mount on slanted side because of the metal cross brace and it does not take into count that there is more tank volume per inch as we go up the tank. Mounting the sensors on the fresh water tank curb side on our coach is block by our propane hot water heater and the holding tanks have a lot of wires and hoses near the manifold, which would interfere with the sensor.
And the flyer mentions $4,000 for headlight conversion. What happened to the word "SALE"? Is $4,000 a sale price?
That's headlights plus fog lights, so it ends up being a nice savings.
