Audrey & I are hosting this rally in our home town of Ridgecrest California. Ridgecrest is on US 395 just east of the south end of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and west of the south end of Death Valley.
We are putting on this rally taking advantage of the annual Ridgecrest Desert Wildflower Festival.
See: Ridgecrest Desert Wildflower Festival | Join Us April 13, 14 & 15, 2012 (http://www.ridgecrestDesertWildflowerFestival.com)
for a great description of the event.
The following is a quote from the event web site:
"Join us in 2012 on the weekend of April 13, 14 & 15 for the Second Annual Ridgecrest Desert Wildflower Festival in the High Desert City of Ridgecrest, California. The Festival expands on the Maturango Museum's long running Wildflower Show which combines nature's beautiful floral display in the surrounding foothills and the Mojave Desert with arts, crafts, performers, vendors, hand-on-activities, workshops, geocaching and tour guides. Ridgecrest is located in the Indian Wells Valley of Northeastern Kern County with a spectacular Eastern view of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Visitors can also explore the stunning Red Rock Canyon and Trona Pinnacles geological formations."

• Three breakfasts (2 cold and one catered hot)
