While fueling up Amanda's car at Walmart in Kemah, TX last night I glanced across the parking lot and saw a beautiful silver tag axle Foretravel set up for the night. So, I swung by and said howdy through the open windows and had the pleasure of being invited in by the owners, Norm and Betty Soucy of Weekiwachie (sp?), FL.
We had a nice visit and a thorough tour of their 42' 2004 U320, their 5th Foretravel. I got lots of good advice, namely to stick with Foretravels and avoid Country Coach! What wonderful folks...once I told them I just bought a Foretravel we were like old friends. Pretty cool.
Amanda, however, can't believe they actually invited me in. She's still learning about what a great bunch of folks own Foretravels...
I have been around some and see the same results .Feels good . Much different than say a car or pickup truck .Seams like we Foretravel people have sort of a family feeling about this whole thing . For sure we have common ground and with intrests in the same area ,along with pride in ownership .This in unbeatable in todays world . The SOB crowd have their thing , but nothing like the [ Foretravel ] bit . Brad Metzger
I have knocked on many a FT door. Usually keep a FT hat in the truck to put on when I do. Have meet many interesting people that way. Since I live in the DC area any FT owners come this way to sightsee orto go north to New England or to go to Canada. Then again, I will stop by a FT if I see it out on my travels too.might be interesting to keep track of the FT I meet and see how many there are in a year.
I have yet to meet up with a FT owner that was not willing to stop and visit. In CG's, at Walmart, Fuel stops and elsewhere I have knocked on doors, or otherwise made myself known and have met lots of fine folks. I also carry Forefourms.COM calling cards designed by Steve and Michelle and have been known to leave one under a wiper if no one is around. I would expect any other FT owner to do the same with me.

Cards? We have cards?
Please do tell or is it a secret like all the mystery switches on a Foretravel?

Keith,
Look here for a MS Word document you can use to print ForeForums cards.

Thanks, Peter or was it Beth?
I missed them somehow.

I was fortunate when it came to printing FOREFORUMS.COM calling cards using Steve's template . My BIL used the FF Template as a test with a newly installed multi million dollar printing press being installed by his employer. I would guess that the 500 cards he printed for me are probably worth a buck a piece but I am generous with them.

Okay... If you have a printer, I can use MS Publisher to create a .pdf document you can use to print the ForeForums calling card. Send me a message with what you want printed and I can email you back the 'pdf document. All you have to do is go to any office supply store and buy the Avery equivalent for these calling cards (10 cards per page type). Select the print option in the .pdf document after inserting the Avery card stock in your printer.
