How many people have Coach Net and have used it, is this the best program going.

We have used CoachNet for the last 8 years and really do like it.  I've only had to use the servcie a handful of times and each and everytime, the folks on the other end of the phone have been outstanding.  They know RV's and they do all they can to identify the problem before calling in repair men.

And their reimburse quickly for any out of pocket costs. Or at least they have with us.  I always renew my coach net.

Plus it covers all of your autos, not just the Coach but the tow car or any car you own or rent.  Say you have a flat tire on your truck while out in the middle of nowhere, not even using the RV, you call them and they send out a repair guy.

Can't say enough about them.

I agree totally with txforetravel, we also have CoachNet and I especially like the anything towed part and all your autos.
We had a farm and I was always pulling trailers and Eq. Used them once for tire service on a 35' tandem Eq. trailer and had very good and quick service.
Works for us.

I've had both Good Sam and Coach-Net. Had to be towed twice using Coach-Net. Their service made bad experiences tolerable. Good Sam's people spent more time telling me what they wouldn't cover than trying to help me. That is just one person's experience. I know many people who have had good service from Good Sam.

We called Coach-Net a couple of times when we had the SOB coach. We found their response to be excellent.

Once was for a flat while we were in Billings, MT. They referred us to a very good tire shop. We used the shop to get the flat fixed on the coach. We used the shop again on another trip to fix a flat on the Jeep.

We called Coach-Net when our transmission went into "limp mode" during a blizzard in Kansas. They looked up the transmissions codes, arranged for a tow, and had a place lined up to look at the transmission. We hunkered down overnight and in the morning I was able to fix the transmission issue based on the information they provided. An accumulation of ice had caused an electric plug to pull out. We canceled the tow and service appointment.

Then we bought a Foretravel so we no longer must flee from a blizzard. :D We keep our subscription to Coach-Net.

I had Camping World's Roadcare (Good Sam's sister outfit) first.  Was on my way home with a SOB, new to me, used motorhome which lost all voltage due to a broken alternator belt.  Happened just outside Columbus, Oh on a late Friday afternoon.  Called them and they left me hanging until I fixed it myself on Sunday morning .  Think I'd still be there if I had not fixed it myself.  They said that there was no one available for that type of emergency road repair work on weekends.  They were willing to tow me to a RV shop the did not open until Monday, all I needed was a new belt.  That was the last time I used them.  Switched to CoachNet shortly there after and have had a excellent relationship with them, even when I needed them when I purchased my U225.  Needed a tow to Cummins and told them what kind of coach I had and they said it did not match their records, and I could only have one coach covered on the policy (still had the old SOB).  Told them I had just purchased the Foretravel and was on the way home with it and the the SOB coach was for sale.  The rep talked to her supervisor, and came back and said that they would cover the tow.  No problem at all.  Am very happy with CoachNet ^.^d !!!  Highly recommend them ^.^d ^.^d ^.^d .

But there is something good in everything.  We found a excellent Mexican restaurant while broken down there.  In fact we have stopped at the restaurant when passing through Columbus other times!  Fiesta Mariachi Mexican Restaurant (http://www.fiestamariachi.net/).  Love the Coctel de Camarones!

We have Coach Net.  Have not had to use them, but whenever their service is discussed I recall Jim Busby's great experience with a highly demanding tow

We began with Good Sam, because I didn't know about any other program.  We have used them several times ... for everything from running out of fuel (don't ask!) to a major tow of 85 miles.  They have always sent us good mechanics and we have never been stranded for any ridiculous period of time.  We may switch to Coach Net, simply because we now have a bit more complicated coach ... but our service from Good Sam has been just fine.

We were pleased with Coach Net service and attention to details. We used their services several times including having our coaches towed.
Sincerely,

What is the date on the CoachNet card?  The effective date or the expiration date?  Don't remember getting new cards when I renewed.  Date on my card is 01/12/12.

On my new coachnet card, the only thing it shows is Name, member number and member since xx/xx/xx.  then on the back is the phone numbers for member services and concierge services.

I have my Coach-Net through FMCA.  Mine shows the expiration date.  Suggest you call their member services at 1-800-273-1110.  I seem to remember it always took a while to get my cards in the mail.

Called once, and they said that I should have them before my Florida trip, but here I've been back for weeks now.  Wondering if my mind was playing tricks on me.  Guess I better call again.

The new cards do not have a date.  And my call must have fell thru the cracks as there was not record of it and no record of a request for new cards to be re-issued.  Hopefully Maggie took care of me this time!
