Tornado confirmed just southwest of Dallas.
Fox4 is showing damage at the I-20 Flying J. I know we have some members in the affected area - Dave and Dolly Cobb.
Prayers that everyone is safe. The entire Dallas/Tarrant/Denton/etc. county area is under tornado watch today, and there is some nasty weather out there.

Thanks for your concern, we are alright, near Lake Arlington. We had some hail, and I was headed home from N. Arlington, drove thru some damaging 1-2" hail. News reports tracked two separate tornadoes one got Dallas county, the other Tarrant County south of us.
As we own a roofing company, this is a mixed blessing. We need the business, but at the expense of the damage to other's homes. Looks like we are still in for some more storm cells, showing on the radar here in the office.
Still hope to be in Nacogdoches for a Monday service appointment, that might become more TBD as my contacts start calling for help or inspections.
So far this storm seems to be property damages only, with all the advance notice, and sirens, thankfully.

They are now reporting another tornado has hit Forney and is headed towards Mclendon-Chisholm area, where another member, and Admin for the CatRVClub forum, Ken Carpenter lives.
Scary stuff seeing that tractor trailer up in the air....
Talked to Ken this afternoon. Baseball sized hail, but they are OK. May need a new roof.

I have been watching the local news since the storms. Arlington was hit very hard probably the worst storm in 8 or 9 years. Since Dave owns his own roofing company none of may not see them until the end of the year! :o Jerry and I have known Dave and Dolly for over a decade. Not only are they two of the nicest people on earth Dave is an absolute craftsman at his trade. (Speaking from 1st hand knowledge.)
Note to Dave: No coach shopping after the last roof is done. I will be checking on you! ;D
Just home, been a long day. City says 410 homes and apartments damaged. Mostly by the tornado and high winds. We did not get the massive hail that we might have. This seemed a very quickly formed storm, and the hail was lots of small pieces at glue together, and shattered on impact. Town was really lucky.
Huge hail from the Dallas storm, youtube showed 3 sides of every car had windows out on hundreds of cars parked outside in Coppell.
Coach shopping is a winter project maybe, we need to get the spring and summer work done first.
