Title: need screw in fitting for windshield washer - FOUND IT
Post by: Larry Rubin on April 09, 2012, 03:02:18 pm
On my '04 U295, a part of the windshield washer fitting has broken and I'd like to replace it rather than have to open up the dash to install the complete fitting.

The part I need is a small metal connector that has screw threads on one side and hose barb on the other.  It fits into the exterior plastic part then onto the hose on the other end.  No luck at auto stores - but haven't called FOT yet.

Anyone got one in their parts box or know the manufacturer?

Found it!

Thanks for the help Barry, but I found the connector on  .: TAC :. Transportation Accessories Company - Specialists in School Bus Parts (http://www.tacbusparts.com/index.asp)
with the help of a post on windshield wiper nuts by Gary Boulard

Go to a good model airplane shop and ask for a Dubro 8/32 pressure fitting.
