Anyone happen to know where the water pump relay is on a 99 320? My pump quit last night and I noticed that the pump switch light was dimmer than usual. I checked the breaker in the bay and it shows 12 volts. At the hot at the pump, however, I get only 4 volts. I was thinking it was simply a bad ground but after making certain the ground is good at the pump, I'm thinking the problem must lie elsewhere. I see on my schematic that both the pump and water fill have relays. Maybe that's the problem but where the heck is that pesky relay??? Also, any other ideas?

Should be behind the white panel in the driver's side of the pass through bay.
Thanks, Bob. I'm aware of that 15 amp breaker switch which also controls the fill valve. I have 12v there and the fill valve operates fine. The schematic indicates a water pump relay and refers me to drawing number B2179 which I don't have. I fear that this relay might be behind the faucet assembly. Hope I'm wrong though.

Sorry I wasn't more clear. On my '99 U320 behind the white panel near the bottom, there are two relays, one for the water pump and one for the water fill. I replaced my water pump relay a few years ago.I don't have access to the part number info right now, but will find it and post it later today if that will help.
That would be great. Sent you a PM btw.
One other thing on my problem. I applied 12v directly to the pump and it works fine so my problem is simply very low voltage at the pump.

Howdy Jor,
Here's a link to Barry and Cindy's info on replacing water pump relay:
How we replaced our water pump relay (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=15044.msg89901#msg89901)
Good Luck..
OK, Bob and Dave. Thanks. I see it now. I had thought the two black boxes labeled "radio" and "coach" etc. were for the door latches. I was thinking RF. Anyhow, I'll try and get a replacement as suggested in the many posts on this subject. Thanks, guys.

Here's a better photo of the relays. These are Intellitec. Intellitec also sells dedicated water pump relays. Not sure why FT chose to go with the ones designed for RV radios. Anyhow, I found a source for these online and ordered two.

Dave & Nancy,
I could not have said it better or faster.
Thanks, Barry & Cindy
