Title: Radiator reservoir cap
Post by: Mark... on April 26, 2012, 05:46:07 pm
I just noticed the other day that there is a split in the Cummins radiator reservoir plastic cap.  Can I just get a new one at a parts store or is it a special order thing from Cummings?

Plastic coolant reservoir tank and cap are not a Cummins part. Call Foretravel parts department.

Check this post in the Old Yahoo  group.
I found the caps and had to order them  I have since given away the extra I had.

We have a string attached to our radiator overflow, radiator pressure, oil fill, fuel tank caps to prevent me from losing them.

I know, when someone removes a cap and forgets to put it back, our Foretravels are known for the cap being just where we left them after driving for a day or so.

But I wanted to just be extra cautious. .

Thanks for the thread Gary.  I'll followup with US Plastics as soon as I get to the coach to measure the cap.
