If you don't know about the M&G brake system. You should at least look at them.

An optional part of their system is an emergency 'Breakaway' feature which includes an air tank which supplies compressed air to the toad's M&G brake applicator in the event of a separation. A SS cable pulls a plastic 'interposer' out of a toad mounted switch thus making an electrical contact triggering the release of the emergency air. With the circuit enabled, the compressed air locks the brakes.
The installer showed me where the fuse for ths circuit is just in case. One of the 'just in case' occurances might be if one of my friends 'happened' to walk off with the plastic 'interposer'. I said, "I don't have any friends like that, but just in case let me have a spare...".
The Kudo: As we were starting out this year I couldn't find the spare plastic do-nicky!!!
I could hear the smile on the guys face when I called and told him I'd like to get a couple more. Gave him my address and asked for an invoice with them.
I got a package in the mail today with two of the 'sticks' and no bill.
Not only does the device work great but their customer service does to.

I have had M&G brakes on 2 Jeep Wranglers, they work great and the folks at M&G are great to deal with. On some installations they do require some "field engineering" to install.
Also have M&G brakes on my toad (HHR) and yes they installed in Athens, Texas with a small amount of adjustment.
You are correct in the fact that some toads require some small changes to make them fit. So far happy with the braking system. DAN
Ditto on the M-G product and service. Installation on my 2002 Subaru Outback was a bit difficult but they completed it within about 2 hours. I am glad I took it to them on my trip back from NAC rather than trying to do it myself.
We are pretty sure it saved the life of a young lady who pulled in front of our coach and hit her brakes earlier this year in Houston. I have a very high level of confidence in the system and the cost was reasonable.
