I notticed that the Shower Head pressure is somewhat weak compared to other faucets in the coach. I cked campground water pressure and it is at 40 #. Do these things have a water preserve or pressure regulator?? Or do I need to take it off and apart and soak in lime away or vinegar?? This is the original gold unit. Looks good but would like to be able to rinse what hair I have left. DAN
I replaced mine and got better water pressure when I redid the shower. The water pump puts out more pressure than the park water does. So that might be your issue too. Try it with your water front he tank with th pump on first. If that is ok then the water pressure is lower than what our 12 volt pumps put out. I noticed all the Prevosts at the rally I attended, 110 of them, had no hose out. They would fill their tanks and use their pump. It was a 110 volt AC pump and a 12 volt pump like ours for backup.
They got much better pressure that way.
Dan,
We bought a replacement for the OEM shower head that was in our coach. We consider it a significant improvement. From the same store we also bought the positive show shut-off, brass Y w/shutoff, TDS meter, and many other items. All were of good quality and usefulness. RV Water Filter Store: Standard Filter Canisters for Whole RV (http://www.rvwaterfilterstore.com/UsefulGadgets.htm)
We always use water from the fresh water tank. We only hook up to a fresh water supply in order to fill the fresh water tank.
Replace with an oxygenics shower head
Agree - nice improvement for not much money - wish it came in Gold.
We always turn on the water pump when showering or washing dishes, even when connected to campground water. Much better pressure and flow.
It does. Oxygenics BodySpa SkinCare Handheld Shower, Gold #13123. But it has been discontinued, so if you can find one you better grab it now. Amazon.com: Oxygenics BodySpa SkinCare Handheld Shower, Gold #13123: Home (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000LR5DPY/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_3?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000LRC8BG&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=08FH6R3217S00KBDZ1RE) Seen it a couple other places too.

Dang it! I have been looking for a gold Oxygenics showerhead for our new to us FT. We had a chrome one in our last coach and it's the cat's meow as far as I'm concerned.
Saves water and a great shower.
Here's another style option Amazon.com: Oxygenics 93835 Evolution Handheld Showerhead, Gold: Home (http://www.amazon.com/Oxygenics-93835-Evolution-Handheld-Showerhead/dp/B00299ZB0Y/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1336179946&sr=8-1)
How about buying it here.

The one Barry found is the one we are looking for but it shows as out of stock on that site as well. The one we have works so will have to do for now. But thanks for looking and if someone finds a source please let us know.
If you're not using a water softener or reverse osmosis system, it's a good idea to soak a conventional showerhead in vinegar whenever flow markedly decreases.
We don't have a city water hose out either, just like Prevost. But we do have the new Shurflo 4048 12-volt water pump. Pump is rated higher than the popular Shurflo 4008 which has been on the market for several years.
Got the Oxygenics BodySpa Showerhead in today. Installed it right away and yahoo // lots of pressure and great spray. Since it was gold used everything original except the head. Just unscrewed by hand and screwed on the new one. Works great. Tks to Pat C. DAN
Soaking the original in vinegar , saving for back up
