Can any confirm if the black water tank is directly below the toilet in a '97 U320 40' with the toilet and bathroom on the right side? The electric toilet does not work and considering replacing with a simple toilet.
Thanks, Mike
Mike,
My 1995 U320 with the toilet on the right (passenger) side is directly over the black tank. I have a Sealand Traveler foot operated toilet that works great all the time.
Philip Covault at AER Supply in Seabrook, TX, is a marine distributor of Sealand products and would be a possible source of a Traveler and at probably a good price. He can ship anywhere and can be reached at 281.474.3276
Mike,
Probably, but your most assured bet is to call James Triana at FT on Tuesday with your coach build number. He'll be able to look up your specific coach and tell you for sure.
Michelle
Our '95 U320 had an electric toilet that was on the passenger side, as well. There was NO sense of "urgency" when you flushed that thing ... so I suspect that it was directly over the black tank. A call to James Triana or Mark Harvey with your build number, as Michelle said, is the only way you are going to know for sure and feel safe, I think.
Ours is directly over the tank. We can open the toilet valve and look at the bottom of the tank. While using the tank flusher we can see the spray in the tank.
Is it a Microfore (?) toilet? Parts are a available and they do work very well.
Thanks for the help. I will check with FT.

I guess Microflush is the brand toilet I have.
Number for parts is 866-840-4944.
He is in NJ. He knows the product and is very helpful.
