Title: Hello everyone
Post by: bondman on May 26, 2012, 05:34:36 pm
Hello to all my now fellow fore owners! My wife and I are the proud owners of a 92 280GV and are loving it--this is our first trip with it and the auto climate control makes us feel so at home which is appropo since our goal is to one day make this our home! We had a 92 HR 33' Alumalite before  (for four years) and I never thought I would be able to get a diesel pusher. I hadn't seen too many foretravels until seeing this one and the level of luxury to us is just great!! Am looking forward to all the accumulated wisdom (and probably a little BS) that will come from this site! Any of you in East TN--give us a holler..we already know a fellow owner from the service dpt. at TN RV.
Happy motoring and maybe c u soon! ^.^d

BONDMAN, Welcome!!!

We too are a recent Foretravelers and never thought we would have a diesel pusher. Now we are on our second coach, one big enough for full time living.

You are very observant regarding the "Accumulated Wisdom" on this forum but alas wrong about the BS. Never will you see any BS on this web site, well maybe once in a while. OK, some of it is BS but only from a few of us. OK, maybe quite a few of us.  Anyhow, welcome. The members here will supply you with immeasurable knowledge that will make owning your Foretravel a much more pleasant experience.

Another big welcome to the forum.

We had the same thought, we might never own a diesel or a Foretravel and we lucky to find Kent and Peggy's for sale.  Hope you have the fun and enjoyment from yours we have from our classic.

Welcome to the Forum and to ownership.  I am across the line in VA and get down to TN pretty often.  GIve me a shout if you come into the valley.

And another welcome!

When we first started talking about full-timing, we dismissed motor homes completely as too expensive to buy and run. As we researched, a DP is now our first choice - and the budget hasn't changed. We'll be meeting up with some Foretravel people this summer, looking at a few coaches, and asking a LOT of questions.

Keep us updated ... we will certainly cross paths at some point.  This Forum is the greatest thing going!  Our first Foretravel was a '93, and we just loved it.  Congratulations!!

And yet another welcome and congratulations!!  This forum is both an incredible support group and a family.

No questions too technical or too basic!  We've all started out with Foretravels at some point!  (OK, some people seem to have been born traveling in them, but for most of us...)

Hi! And another welcome to Foretravel and the ForeForums. You will find lots of answers here to questions you have and to lots that you didn't know that you had. Yes, sometimes we do see a little BS but it's always in good clean fun.
We are driving (our, at the moment looking at) our 4th Foretravel, sorta dedicated owners. Family illness has kept our fuel costs to almost zero for the last 6 months, one trip to U Va Hospital is all. We, too, are East Tennesseans, a good bit further east in Johnson City.
