I need to find a source for the type fuse that fits the fuse block used in the front dash panel infront of the co-pilot seat. The 15 amp auto reset fuse that MOT sold me does not fit the fuse block. I would have to do a less than professional install with the fuse I was sold. Discussing this with MOT, the fuse they sold me is the only one they sell. It is a screw-in type and not the OEM type used for the 97 coaches.
And, how does one test for these type fuses? If it's auto reset and failing (I think) it may show continuity but then temporarily open to open the circuit. Then, close again until the next cyle. So I thought of just replacing the fuse for a couple dollars.
This is the fuse for the brake light circuit that I'm trying to bring up to spec. Also will replace the brake light switches located below the driver in the first bay.
Last resort would be FOT.

I think you are in need of a Type 1 auto reset thermal cycling circuit breaker. They are available from NAPA, even if they have to order exactly what you need.

Circuit breakers snap into mounting bracket with no tools required, that hold all standard Type 1 (auto reset) breakers. Brackets are shown here:

You can test a breaker by temporarily connecting an LED to the hot side so you can glance at it when you think you have a breaker failure. But I agree, if you have a problem, why not do shotgun approach by changing inexpensive parts.

Thanks for the information. NAPA was my next visit. It just hits me the wrong way when I pay for something from the "experts" and they don't know what they're doing and sell you the wrong part. Where are the parts men that know what they're doing?
I'm still waiting for Mike (MOT) to call me and tell me how I'm supposed to mount that breaker they sold me. >:(
