Title: Nice vintage 83' Travco on eBay
Post by: Don & Tys on June 16, 2012, 01:57:40 pm
Interesting Traveco... Has a motorcade number. No mention of Foretravel in the add though. I thought Foretravel had already absorbed Traveco by then... Edit for stupidity! Foretravel is mentioned in the ad title... Doh!

This is a twin to the 82 that I once owned. Fantastic two piece plastic body seamed down the middle of the roof.  Mine had a Dodge M500 Chassis with a 440-3 engine.  Constant engine problems due to overheating on the smallest hill. I spent more time under this than I did driving it.  I think 83 was the end of the TRAVCO's, they made a few Diesel pushers If I recall. Picture of My 82 is in photos on front page here.
